Frequently asked questions.

What kind of photographer are you?

I would call myself a lifestyle photographer who specializes in portraiture. Though I also dabble in still life and landscape photography as well.

Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No. I delete the repeats, the ones where you blink, the test shots, the missed focused shots, and the shots that would dilute the final quality of your final gallery. I work hard to ensure that the final photos that I deliver are ones that I am proud of. During our time together, you might notice that I snap quite a few photos, but out of the many that I take, only a few of them are the “perfect” moment that capture just the right candid moment.

Do you touch up photos?

Yes! And no. When editing, I will lightly touch up your face to remove any temporary blemishes as well as smooth out skin to make it seem more natural in smooth lighting. My general “rule-of-thumb” is to remove anything that wouldn’t be there is two weeks.

Why do you require a deposit? What is it?

I require a deposit as it just lets me know that you are committed to and serious about working together. It also ensures that no other sessions are booked during that time slot. Should anything come up and you have to reschedule, don’t worry! I will make sure that we find a date that works for you and your (family’s) busy schedule and your deposit will then be applied towards that shoot.

What is your weather policy?

I am usually pretty vigilant about the weather, and I will probably reach out to you either the day before or the day of your session. If you are worried or you would like to reach out earlier, please feel free to do so no earlier than three days prior to your session. I am able to shoot rain or shine, but I want you to be happy with your session. Therefore, even if it is cloudy, I am willing to reschedule to another day. You seem a little young…
